| Lyn St.
Clair
Lyn never had any doubts about what she'd
be when she grew up. From the time she could hold a pencil
she drew animals. Both of Lyn's parents are artists, her mother
as a talented animal portraitist and her father a renown airbrush
illustrator. There were always materials available, encouragement
given and a healthy dose of constructive criticism offered.

(Lyn's pictures
are all 18in x 15in mounted
and the image size is 13in x 10in)

At age 12 Lyn began selling pastel dog portraits drawn from
life at regional dog shows for the whopping price of $2.00
each. In 1983 Lyn self-published her first limited edition
print "Wolves" which quickly sold out. During the decade that
followed she self published over 600 different images of over
130 breeds. Her work has been used to illustrate books and
a breed standard for judges. It has also featured on the covers
of numerous breed magazines.
Lyn strives to capture the individual character of each of the breeds depicted in her limited edition prints. This is helped by her 25 years of experience in the Dog Show world as well as the untold hours researching, observing and sketching her subjects in the search for each breeds 'essence'
The end result is a series of limited editions that are collected around the world.
Lyn's Artwork is available from Mondina Dog Art for a fix rate of £40.00 inclusive of postage.
